Should I have a Trial?

Should I have a Trial? When you are having your wedding hair and make-up done you will usually be asked if you would like to have a trial.

A trial is not essential if you feel confident in your artists work and are happy to get creative on the day. However a trial can be a great way for you to get to know your artist before the wedding day and in turn your artist to get to know you.

In getting to know your personality, likes and dislikes when it comes to hair and make-up before the wedding day, your artist is able to create a unique look to suit your personality and features.

You will get the opportunity to see your inspiration pictures created on you. It can be easy to love an inspiration photo but not like the look as much on yourself. So a trial gives you the chance to see it with your features and hair textures and adapt as needed for your personal perfect look.

Your artist will work with your hair texture and skin type to personalise the look you like for you.

If you don’t wear a lot of makeup usually it is also good to see how your makeup application feels. You want to have perfect makeup for all your wedding photos. To achieve a flawless photographic look a little more makeup is required even when only wanting natural glam.

Coordinating a trial with an engagement shoot or Hens party is a great way to try your hair and makeup look out and still get to enjoy the results. Don’t worry if you are worried about everyone seeing your amazing look before the day we can always mix it up a little at the end!
